I like my job

So i worked emergency callback yesterday because we sent a strike team up to the esparanza fire. We were actually next up to be sent to that fire but we never got assigned (long story). Anyway, i was a little bummed because i still haven't been able to go out on a strike team yet and we were so close to going on this one. Oh well. The good news is that instead of wildfire i got to be involved in fighting 2 commercial fires. The bad news is that i fell through a hole in the floor and sprained my ankle but that's another story. Here are some pics from the bigger fire. It was around 1:30 this morning. A commercial building where they do chrome plating and stuff. Lots of hazardous materials in the building so we didn't go inside. Fun nonetheless... That's me in the middle pic pulling hose.
